RAW FOOD HIGH PRESSURE PROCESSING

All of our frozen and freeze-dried raw products go through HPP (high pressure processing) to naturally destroy harmful bacteria while assuring the food’s nutritional value is not affected. We want to ensure that pet parents can feel confident that they are always bringing a safe product into the home. Dogs and cats, especially those with compromised immune systems, can benefit from a raw diet that doesn’t carry the risk of bacterial contamination.

NATURAL PROCESS

HPP is a 100% natural, anti-microbial treatment that uses time and pressure to reduce/inactivate pathogens in foods.

ELIMINATE PATHOGENS

Water is used at a pressure greater than a diver would experience at the bottom of the ocean. This effectively controls vegetative pathogenic microorganism including E.coli O157:H7, Salmonella, and Listeria monocytogenes, since harmful bacteria cannot survive in high pressure environments.

PROTECT NUTRIENTS

The pure, real nutrition of raw remains intact as HPP preserves the nutritional value and quality of the food since no heat is applied.
